The man allegedly told a tow truck driver he planned to kill the trooper who ticketed him, according to a police report.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A Wethersfield man whose car was towed due to a series of violations following a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 91 was arrested at his home after allegedly making repeated statements to a tow truck operator that he was going to kill the trooper who pulled him over.

Thomas Eldridge, 24, was charged with inciting injury to persons or property, second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening. He was held in lieu of $100,000 bond, and was scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Enfield Superior Court.

A police report states Eldridge was pulled over on I-91 northbound by a state trooper and ticketed for a number of violations, including misuse of plates, tinted windows, failure to drive in proper lane and operating without minimum insurance.
