Man Charged With Murdering Father In East Windsor: Police

The man is being held on a $2 million bond, according to police.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — An East Windsor man has been charged with murdering his father last month, police announced Saturday. Gabriel Hesse, 40, of South Main Street, was arrested on a warrant Friday night for the murder of his 73-year-old father, Halsey Hesse Jr., in October, according to police.

Police said Gabriel Hesse was taken into custody at his residence at about 7 p.m. without incident and was held on a $2 million court-set bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Enfield Superior Court on Nov. 18.

“The East Windsor Police Department would like to thank the Connecticut State Police, Connecticut State Police Central District Major Crime Unit, Windsor Locks Police Department and the State of Connecticut Division of Scientific Services for their assistance with this investigation,” police said in a post on Facebook.
