Person Hit By Vehicle In East Windsor; LifeStar Called
The crash happened near Exit 45 on I-91 North, according to state police.
EAST WINDSOR, CT — A person was seriously hurt early Tuesday after a vehicle hit a pedestrian on Interstate 91 North in East Windsor, according to state police.
The crash was reported around 2:40 a.m. near Exit 45, the Connecticut State Police Media Relations Unit said in an email.
State police said one person was taken to an area hospital. No other information was available Tuesday morning.

The Warehouse Point Fire District said firefighters were called around 2:45 a.m. to I-91 North between Exits 44 and 45.
East Windsor Ambulance, East Windsor police, and the Broad Brook Fire Department also responded, according to a fire district release posted on Facebook.

Fire officials said emergency crews helped at the scene while state police handled the investigation.
One patient had serious injuries and was taken by East Windsor Ambulance to a nearby hospital, Warehouse Point Fire Chief James P. Barton said in the release.
A LifeStar helicopter was requested but later canceled, according to Barton.
State police cleared the scene Tuesday morning after investigating the crash, according to state officials.
