Windsor Locks to Celebrate 50th Anniversary of Little League Championship
The 1965 world championship will be celebrated in a special event at Pesci Park Friday night.
Friday, Aug. 28, 2015 marks the actual 50th Anniversary of the Windsor Locks Little League team becoming the 1965 World Champions and a celebration will take place Friday night at Pesci Park.
Everyone is invited and the organizers are asking people to spread the word to family and friends.
Pesci Park will open at 6 p.m. Bring your own chairs and/or blankets to save your spot at Pesci Park P1 infield.

Guest speakers will start at 7 p.m.
Video of the actual game from ABC Wide World of Sports will start playing approximately 7:45. After that, the CPTV documentary from the 25th anniversary will be played.
