Windsor Locks Couple Involved in Order Violation, Booking Assault: Cops
The incident began with a car crash in Tolland, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT — Two people who were not legally supposed to be together in the first place are facing various charges, including one for assaulting a public safety officer, state police said.
The saga of Ann Marie Lemini and David Jones of Windsor Locks began at 2:30 p.m. on June 3, when they crashed their vehicle on a stretch of Shenipsit Lake Road in Tolland, state police said.
When investigating the crash, state police discovered the two were violating a protective and restraining orders, respectively, by being together, according to an arrest report.

Both were charged with that crime, state police said.
Jones was assigned a $10,000 bond, state police said. He appeared in court in June 5 and his bond was increased to $50,000 and he was still in custody on Friday while awaiting his next appearance on June 27, according to judicial system records.

Lemini was uncooperative during the booking process and was charged additionally with failure to comply with fingerprinting, assault on a public safety officer and second-degree criminal mischief, state police said. A judge on June 5 increased her bond to $50,000 and she remained in custody on Friday while awaiting her next court appearance on June 28, court records indicate.
