Aquarion Completes Purchase of Water System in Middlebury and Woodbury

The system will serve 25 customers in the Lake Quassapaug area of Middlebury and Woodbury.

Aquarion Water Company today announced the completion of the purchase of a water system located in Middlebury and Woodbury, Connecticut.

The system is known as the West Shore System and was formerly owned by West Shore Owner’s Association, Inc. It will serve 25 customers in the Lake Quassapaug area of Middlebury and Woodbury.

“We welcome our new Middlebury and Woodbury customers and look forward to providing them with safe, quality, reliable water service for years to come,” said Charles V. Firlotte, Aquarion President and CEO.

With the integration of this water system into its portfolio, Aquarion now serves 51 cities and towns and more than 625,000 customers throughout the state.
