'BEER' on His License Plate, Underage Alcohol Arrest on His Record: Report
An 18-year-old Woodbury teen and his 18-year-old passenger face a plethora of charges.

WOODBURY, CT — An 18-year-old Woodbury teen was arrested on alcohol and weapons charges Saturday night after he was pulled over while driving an SUV with the license plate "BEER," reports the Waterbury Republican-American.
Arrested near Tuttle Road in Woodbury was Ethan Hunter Ray on charges of possession of alcohol by a minor, weapons possession, forgery and speeding. Also arrested was 18-year-old passenger Matthew Meade Amatruda on charges of possession of narcotics, weapons possession and other infractions.
Police found cocaine, brass knuckles and alcohol in the vehicle. Other teens also were in the vehicle but were not charged. Ray and Amatruda were both released after posting $2,500 bonds each, and are due in court on Dec. 20.
