Could Woodbury Become Home to a Medical Marijuana Dispensary?

Currently there are six medical marijuana dispensaries in Connecticut and there is a proposal to increase that number to nine, the Hartford Courant reports.

The emphasis is on adding locations in both Fairfield and New Haven counties, and 16 applications have been received, including one from Woodbury.

David Sullivan of 28 Blueberry Lane in Woodbury filed an application. The possible location has not been disclosed.

There are 5,337 registered patients and the state will make a decision early next year on where to add the new dispensaries.
