Dangerous Icy Road In Woodbury To Be Fixed: Report

WOODBURY, CT — After another recent accident near the bottom of Sherman Hill Road, Acting First Selectwoman Barbara K. Perkinson called the state Department of Transportation urging the treacherous roadway be repaired, the Republican-American reports.

Because of a bad pipe, water freezes on the road during the winter months and the DOT will be at the site on Monday to remedy the situation.

During Tuesday's two-vehicle crash, a pick-up truck lost control on the ice, which led to the accident, the Rep-Am reports.
