Dogs, Cats Rescued from Middlebury Fire
The cause is attributed to a nest inside a light fixture.

WOODBURY, CT- Two cats and a few dogs were rescued from a house at 340 Mirey Dam Road that caught fire late Wednesday, Republican American reported.
No residents were hurt and immediately exited the house and called the fire department upon noticing the fire, according to Republican American. The cause of the fire was attributed to either a bird or mouse nest inside a light fixture.
Firefighters contained the fire in about a half an hour, as reported by Republican American. They were able to save the structure with minimal fire damage, though the resulting damage made the house uninhabitable.
