Donations Needed for New Middlebury Police Dog
Police are looking for a new dog since the current dog is retiring soon.

J.J., a labrador retriever who has been K-9 officer Ed Demer’s partner for the past decade, is retiring, the Republican-American reported.
Police Chief James Viadero told the paper that fundraising efforts for a new police dog to replace J.J. were going well, but more money still needs to be raised.
Those wishing to donate can mail checks to 200 Southford Road, Middlebury, Connecticut, 06762. The checks should be made payable to the Town of Middlebury with “for new police dog” in the memo section.
