The incident occurred Sunday on I-84.

MIDDLEBURY, CT - Two 25-year-old men were arrested Sunday with more than a pound of marijuana in their possession during a traffic stop on I-84 in Middlebury, according to state police.
Arrested were Tristan Roberts, of Ansonia, and Sheldon Clarke, no address disclosed, reports the Waterbury Republican-American. They were both charged with possession of over four ounces of marijuana with intent to sell, and Clarke also was charged with operating a vehicle with illegal tinted windows and failure to have a front license plate.
The incident occurred eastbound at about 4 p.m. After pulling them over for the tinted windows and lack of license plate, state police said troopers smelled a strong odor of pot and found a bag containing about 1.12 pounds of it inside the vehicle.
