
For Immediate Release- Waterbury, CT, June 22, 2017 –Easterseals of Greater Waterbury is excited to announce its Community Workshop Scholarship and Aid Fund awardees.
Easterseals of Greater Waterbury has announced that 8 students from the Greater Waterbury area and surrounding towns have received individual scholarships to continue their education. Each year, Easterseals awards post-secondary scholarships to deserving students who have a disability and are attending an accredited college or university.
Easterseals of Greater Waterbury President Loraine C. Shea says, “Easterseals has a long standing history of assisting students with a disability to continue with their education. These students have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement, involvement in extra curricula activities and a desire to pursue their specific fields of study.”
