Fatal Middlebury Accident Claims Life of Brookfield Man
The accident occurred on I-84 in Middlebury on Sunday, Oct. 25.
A fatal accident that occurred on I-84 in Middlebury the evening of Sunday, Oct. 25, claimed the life of a Brookfield man.
According to the Hartford Courant, 59-year-old Kevin J. Klein of Brookfield was transported to the hospital and was pronounced deceased.
New Jersey resident Erica Weinman, 18, was reportedly eastbound in the left lane of I-84. The Hartford Courant reported her car struck Klein’s car after leaving the highway and traveling over the center median.

Weinman and the passengers in her car were transported to the hospital with potential injuries.
NBC Connecticut reported the westbound side of I-84 between exits 17 and 16 was closed for approximately an hour Sunday night.
