Former Middlebury Man Accused In Sex Assault Case: Report
A man now living in Seymour is being accused of sexual contact with minors.
MIDDLEBURY, CT — A man who was living in Middlebury is accused of giving marijuana edibles and alcohol to minors so he could then grope and kiss them, according to The Waterbury Republican-American.
Carlos Egas, 43, is an electrical engineer who now lives in Seymour. He was living in Middlebury at the time the alleged crimes took place.
Egas was charged with two counts of second-degree unlawful restraint, fourth-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor, illegal sexual contact and two counts of illegal sale of liquor to a minor.
