FroyoWorld Opening Friday, March 22 [UPDATE]

FroyoWorld of Middlebury is set to open at 5 p.m. Friday, March 22. Susan Bok of FroyoWorld said customers who stop by will receive 50 percent off their total order, as a way of expressing apologies for the delayed opening.

Update: Thursday, March 21, 6:50 p.m.

William Bok e-mailed Patch and said the FroyoWorld in Middlebury is set to open at noon Friday, March 22.

William Bok of the FroyoWorld development team said the sweet spot has a delay in opening. The shop may open today or tomorrow, according to Bok.

The sign went up weeks ago and now, FroyoWorld, a self-serve frozen yogurt lounge, is opening in Middlebury tomorrow: Thursday, March 21.

"We will be offering 14 rotating flavors of frozen yogurt, along with endless amounts of toppings to choose from," William Bok of the FroyoWorld development team said via e-mail. "We have a fine selection of nonfat, low-fat and no sugar added frozen yogurt flavor options as well as dairy free sorbets."

Toppings are varied too, from fresh fruit to cheesecake bites to dessert staples, like sprinkles.

Bok said the new FroyoWorld plans to open its doors around 2 p.m. Thursday.
