Hearing Date Changed for Nonnewaug Renovation Project
The public hearing and final tour of the NHS building project is now Thursday night.

The date and time of the public hearing on the Nonnewaug High School (NHS) renovation project has been changed from Tuesday to Thursday, May 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the school media center.
A tour of the proposed building project led by Region 14 Director of Buildings and Grounds Mike Molzon and NHS principal Andrew O’Brien will take place one hour before the hearing.
“This tour and Public Hearing will be the last opportunity to learn about the upcoming NHS Project and June referendum from members of the Region 14 Board of Education, Building Committee, administrative staff, and the design consultant team,” Superintendent Jody Goeler said in a letter to district residents. “The Region 14 Board of Education has been working for a number of years to address the various needs of each of our school facilities. Although this school building project referendum only focuses on NHS, it is due to the fact that there are many needs that must be addressed immediately.”
