Fire Sets Off Ammunition Inside Woodbury Condo Unit: UPDATE
Firefighters battled the blaze Thursday night.

WOODBURY, CT —A major fire broke out at the Woodlake condominium complex on Summit Court Thursday night, reports Hanna Snyder-Gambin of the Republican-American. On Friday new details were released concerning the fire.
One unit was destroyed in the fire and it appears that rounds of ammunition went off as firefighters were battling the blaze, which began in the chimney, according to WTNH News 8. The fire was reported at 8 p.m.
The Fire Chief told News 8 that the ammunition went off like "fireworks." No injuries were reported in the blaze. News 12 CT says the cause of the fire remains under investigation and that residents in adjacent units have been displaced due to the water and smoke damage.
