Martial Arts School Donates to Animal Rescue - Middlebury

Middlebury Martial Arts Academy Helps the Local Animal Shelter.

The students at Middlebury Martial Arts Academy in Middlebury, CT donated over $800 to the Brass City Rescue Alliance in Middlebury. The students raised the money by getting sponsored for kicks for their kick-a-thon event also known in the studio as the night of a thousand kicks. The students asked friends and family to help sponsor them for kicks.

Each year Middlebury Martial Arts Academy does the Kick-a-thon and donates the money to a different cause each year. This year they felt that helping out the animals in need here in Middlebury was the right fit. Owner, Master Dean Meier and Program Director Virginia Folger met with the owner of Brass City Rescue Alliance, Jennifer Humphrey to present her with the check to assist. Jennifer was pleasantly surprised by the donation and said it will help a lot and go towards the never ending vet bills. Middlebury Martial Arts Academy was happy to assist and look forward to helping out another needy cause next year.
