Middlebury Fire Department Lends Naugatuck a Light Tower

The following message was posted by the Naugatuck Fire Department on their Facebook page.

“Thank you to the Middlebury Volunteer Fire Department for the use of their light tower last night.

The light tower used by the NFD for lighting the upper lot at the High School went out of service last night due to a broken cable just as Thunder in the Valley started.

The lights help make the path and parking lot safer for visitors.

We are fortunate that all the towns in this region help each other when called upon.”
