Middlebury Man Charged with DUI in Southbury
Police say the man told them he was on his way home to Middlebury but they informed him he was headed in the opposite direction.
Richard J. Devino, 48, of Upper Whittemore Road in Middlebury was charged with DUI after being stopped just after 1 a.m. Wednesday on Strongtown Road in Southbury, the Republican-American reports.
Police pulled the vehicle over because it was going very slow and even stopped twice, and the car also allegedly weaved and swerved almost hitting a guardrail, the Rep-Am reports.
When Devino did pull over he said he was on his way home, but he was headed in the opposite direction, the Rep-Am reports.
