Middlebury's Town Farm to Receive Proper Name

Residents have referred to the town farm property as Fenn's Farm after the family that owned it. But that was not the correct name.

MIDDLEBURY, CT — It's been called Fenn's Farm for years, after the the family that used to own it, but Middlebury's town farm property will finally receive a sign proclaiming its correct name.

According to Ray Pietrorazio, chairman of Middlebury's Land Preservation and Open Space Acquisition Committee, the proper name for the site is Brookdale Farm, the name it carried for more than 200 years, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.

The site, located at 55 Artillery Road, will soon receive a sign with the correct name, which is currently being created by Connecticut Signcraft of Naugatuck.
