MIDDLEBURY, CT — The Westover School in Middlebury is facing two separate age discrimination lawsuits filed by two former employees, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.
Nekije Ismaili, a 56-year-old, 19-year veteran of the school, believes she was unfairly terminated by the school after being accused of stealing and eating a package of Ramen noodles, according to the publication.
In the second lawsuit, Marguerite Simpson claims she was unfairly forced to retire in her late 70s after nearly 30 years in a part-time capacity, because the school said she was experiencing difficulty in learning a new telephone system.
