Caring, creative, committed — those are the three words Nonnewaug High School Principal Andrew O'Brien used to describe the Class of 2013.
The sun was shining on the class at the Saturday, June 22, graduation ceremony. O'Brien spoke to the caring nature of the class, mentioning how the students who served food and hot beverages to those waiting in line for Dawn Hochsprung's memorial service showed depth of character.
"This school is a better place for having known you and all the work you've done," O'Brien said.
