The talk, part of the "History Bites" series, is scheduled for June.

WOODBURY, CT - The Old Woodbury Historical Society will host "History Bites: Another Hundred Years: The Skelly Family at The Hurd House" at noon on June 2 at the Hurd House Museum Barn on Hollow Road in Woodbury.

According to a Facebook post, the event speaker will be Gregory Landrey.

"Join us as we look at life at the Hurd House through the eyes of the Skelly Family, who occupied the home from 1860-1966," organizers wrote. "Michael Francis Skelly was the town's blacksmith and also an influential man amongst his townspeople and a leader responsible for the building of St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Woodbury."
