The Pomperaug Health District has scheduled a flu clinic for persons 6 months and older on Saturday, February 10 from 10:00 AM to noon at the PDDH office at Playhouse Corner, 77 Main Street North, Suite 205 in Southbury. This clinic is in response to the widespread incidence of influenza in CT. Appointments are not required.

The following health insurances are accepted: Medicare Part B; ConnectiCare; Aetna; Cigna; and Anthem. Insurance cards must be presented for each person receiving a vaccine. For adults 19 years and older, who are uninsured or who have insurance that is not listed above, the Pomperaug Health District will provide free quadrivalent vaccine. Due to the current increase of influenza cases in CT, all children through 18 years may receive a free flu shot. Special funding for this will be provided through the CT Department of Public Health and will be available only for this clinic.
