Reckless Driver Arrested Who Sped Through Woodbury Work Zone: Troopers

The suspect, a Roxbury resident, was arrested on a warrant in connection with the June incident.

WOODBURY, CT — A 28-year-old Roxbury man, who dangerously sped through a construction site in Woodbury in June, was arrested on a warrant this week in connection with the incident, according to resident troopers.

Bacon Road resident Evan Neukom was charged with disobeying a signal of an officer, reckless driving and second-degree reckless endangerment, reports the Republican-American. He was held in lieu of a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court later this month.

Authorities said that Neukom ignored officer commands and sped through a partially closed Washington Road when Eversource crews were trying to restore power.
