Region 14 Referendum Question Answered Today
Formation of elementary schools to be determined.

Woodbury and Bethlehem residents will choose today the alignment of Region 14 elementary schools.
Residents will be given the opportunity to approve or deny a recommendation to form primary and intermediate schools in Woodbury and Bethlehem.
The referendum question reads, "Shall the Regional School District #14 plan, as approved by the State Board of Education on May 1, 1968, be amended by revising a plan recommendation so as to eliminate grades kindergarten through five elementary schools in Bethlehem and Woodbury and replace them with a primary school in Bethlehem housing grades kindergarten through two and an intermediate school in Woodbury housing grades three through five."

The vote will determine whether Region 14 elementary schools will have a K-5 or a K-2 and 3-5 configuration starting in the 2011-12 school year.
Residents can vote from 6 a.m. – 8 p.m. at the Woodbury Senior Center and Bethlehem Town Hall.
