Report: Naugatuck Men Charged Over Theft of Kayaks in Middlebury

Middlebury police say Peter Johansen, 29, of Ash Street, and Michael Sular, 31, also of Naugatuck were charged with sixth-degree larceny for the alleged theft of two kayaks from a house on Shadduck Road Tuesday, the Republican-American reports.

Police said the kayaks were returned after a witness called police and they were able to stop Sular and Johansen, who had the kayaks in their jeep.
