Financial advisor Brie Sodano is holding a Cash Flow Day workshop April 14 at the Watertown office of her firm, From Sheep to Shark.

“In this half-day event you will learn to control your money in 30 minutes per month without a budget, or sacrificing your daily latte,” says Sodano, who began her career as a financial advisor for the nationwide firm Edward Jones.

Sodano works primarily with women through From Sheep to Shark and helps them learn to accurately assess beliefs about money that affect the way they behave, how to identify and implement solutions to the “disappearing money syndrome,” how to get actions to align with goals, and how to embrace habits that build wealth.

Participants in the April 14 Cash Flow Day workshop will learn to better understand their monthly and irregular expenses; how to pay off credit card debt in the most efficient manor; how to manage money evenly without a feast and famine cycle; how to set up a bill payment system that runs in 30 minutes per month; how to save money for emergencies, retirement and vacations, and how to make better choices with money.

The workshop, limited to 30 participants, will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $97 and a light lunch will be provided.

From Sheep to Shark is located at 76 Westbury Ave. in Watertown, in the Princeton Center on the Siemon Business Park campus. Cash Flow Day will be held in the training room.

Brie Sodano began her career in the nonprofit sector and worked at the Boys & Girls Club in Waterbury for nine years, experience that positions her to understand government programs. Among other aspects of financial planning, she specializes in student loan forgiveness.

Sodano is involved in the Waterbury Regional Chamber’s Young Professionals of Waterbury Region (YPOWR), and the United Way of Greater Waterbury Emerging Leaders.

She lives in Watertown with her husband, Mike, and two children.
