Southbury Man Pulled Over in Middlebury Arrested on Weapons Charges
The incident occurred Sunday night.
A Southbury man pulled over for texting and driving in Middlebury was later arrested on weapons charges, the Republican-American reports.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on Sunday.
James P. Johannessen, 31, was charged with failure to drive in the proper lane, cellphone use while operating a motor vehicle, distracted driving and carrying a weapon in a vehicle, the paper reports.
