Three Region 15 elementary schools were ranked among the top 100 public elementary schools in Connecticut, based on new rankings of the best schools in the state from Niche.com, a site that offers rankings on schools, neighborhoods and more.
Here’s how the schools placed.
- Long Meadow Elementary School — No. 64
- Middlebury Elementary School — No. 93
- Gainfield Elementary School — No. 98
According to Niche, a high ranking indicates that “students are happy with their experiences in all aspects, especially academics, teachers, and diversity,” “the school is an exceptional academic institution in terms of teachers, students, resources for learning, and student outcomes,” and “the school is made up of a diverse population and fosters an accepting, positive school culture.”
