If all goes according to Christopher Leonard's plans, El Camión Taco Truck will move up the hill to 308 Sherman Hill Rd., the former site of Pete's Drive In.
"It's going to be operated as a take-out establishment where I will be offering table seating on the deck," said Leonard. "There will be no table service."
Eventually, he hopes to move into the building as well and expand the menu.
The consensus of the Woodbury Zoning Commission, at its Tuesday, May 14, meeting, was to approve, with conditions, the application for a special permit to park the truck at 308 Sherman Hill Rd.
Town Planner Brian Miller will draft a motion to approve and the commission will review it at its next meeting: 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 11.
