WEATHER: Woodbury, Middlebury's Cold, Rainy St. Patrick's Day Weekend Forecast
Remember those 50-degree temps from earlier this week? It seems like winter is still holding on.

If you’ve been yearning for springtime temps, this week came with a nice break in the wintry weather.
But it’s back to the reality of late winter, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. The Greater Hartford St. Patrick’s Day Parade has already been rescheduled due to the weather.

We’re not looking at any measurable snow or ice over the next seven days. However, we could see some snowflakes late Friday or early Saturday and some snow showers on Sunday.
We won’t see 50 degrees over the next seven days, as temperatures stubbornly remain in the low-to-mid 40s for the next week.

Middlebury and Woodbury’s high for the coming week are 46 and 48 degrees, respectively, according to the National Weather Service.
NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan wrote on social media that we could still see another “decent snowstorm” by the end of the month:
“DON’T SHOOT THE MESSENGER: But the way this weather pattern looks through the end of March I’d say odds are at least 50/50 we’ll see another decent snowstorm this season. A stormy and cold look for sure over the next couple weeks. Don’t break out the flip flops just yet.”
WTNH News 8 forecasts a cold rain to last most of Saturday, and possibly rain and snow showers on Sunday with highs around 40.
WFSB 3 TV Meteorologist Scot Haney predicts parts of the state could see a wintry mix late Friday, and then a “chilly rain likely” on Saturday, and rain and snow showers on Sunday.
