Wellspring Announces New Board Member Appointments

New Expanded Roles for Board Members at Wellspring

The Wellspring Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of their new Board Chairperson, Jill Hogan and new Vice Chairperson, Jim Donaghy. Wellspring Co-Founder, Phyllis Beauvais, commented, “Wellspring has always believed that the guidance of friends, colleagues, and board members helps lay the fertile ground for our future at Wellspring. We are blessed to have Jill and Jim in these expanded leadership roles on our board of directors where each of their gifts will help in growing and sustaining our programs and services.”

Jill Hogan, MA has extensive experience working with non-profit organizations, including the Connecticut-based Institute for Community Research, the Massachusetts-based Loka Institute, and the California-based Redefining Progress. In addition to her work experience, Jill has served as a volunteer board member for a number of organizations, and has lived for extended periods of time in both Italy and Japan. As a former Milieu Counselor at Wellspring, Jill has an appreciation and deep understanding of the Wellspring mission. Jill has four children, ages 14, 13, 8 and 5.

Jim Donaghy, MBA, CPA has over forty years experience in private equity investing and is a principal at Holding Capital Group. He is currently a student in the Neuroscience and Education program at Columbia University, Teachers College. His interests in psychology include the neural development of adolescents, its implication for emotional disorders, and the role of the unconscious in decision making. Additionally, he has served as a volunteer at the New York City-based Covenant House, a protective facility for run away children. He is currently a volunteer EMT for the towns of New Milford and Bridgewater, where he lives with his wife.
