Woodbury Cub Scout Pack 54 Travels To Battleship Cove

On June 14th The Cub Scouts of Pack 54 Woodbury traveled to Battleship Cove in Fall River Mass. The Scouts entered the floating museum on Flag Day just one week after the 70th anniversary of the D-Day invasion of Normandy June 6 1944.  USS MASSACHUSETTS, USS JOSEPH P KENNEDY JR., USS LIONFISH, PT 617 AND PT 796 were on display. The Cub Scouts continued on with the long tradition of sleeping overnight and eating in the traditional WWII Navy accommodations. Scouts have been sleeping overnight in the floating museum since 1973.  Battleship Cove is one more way that Cub Scouts have "FUN WITH A PURPOSE"  For more information on the Woodbury Cub Scouts go to www.pack54scouts.org. #pack54
