Woodbury Officials To Drivers: Slow Down
Woodbury officials have issued a plea for drivers to slow down after a number of excessive speed incidents were recorded recently.
WOODBURY, CT — First Selectman Barbara Perkinson has issued a plea for drivers to slow down after a driver last month was clocked doing 90 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 6, according to The Waterbury Republican-American.
Police said that the recent excessive speeds are the worst they've seen. In August, police made 151 traffic stops in which they issued four misdemeanor summons, 48 infractions, and 99 warnings, Perkinson said.
