Woodbury Woman Displays Gun In Tenant Dispute Over Dogs: Police

The accused, a 60-year-old woman, got into a dispute over the number of dogs the tenant had inside the apartment, Naugatuck police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Woodbury woman is accused of displaying a handgun as she was involved in a landlord tenant dispute over dogs, Naugatuck Police said. On Saturday, police responded to a complaint of a landlord/tenant dispute.

During the course of the investigation it was determined that the accused, Frances Mirabilo, 60, of Main Street in Woodbury, had been involved in an argument with her tenant over the number of dogs inside the apartment, police said.

During the argument a handgun was displayed, police said. A handgun was subsequently recovered by police, police said. The handgun had an illegal magazine, police said. She is charged with first-degree threatening, second-degree breach of peace and illegal possession of a large capacity magazine. She was released on a $5,000 bond.
