Young Marines Honor Veterans with Field of Flags

200 Flags placed at VFW Post 7330

Brass City Young Marines Host Field of Flags in honor of Memorial Day

The Brass City Young Marines hosted a Field of Flags in honor of Memorial Day. The Young Marines and recruits sold flags in honor of veterans and placed 200 flags this week outside the VFW Post 7330 in Oakville, Connecticut.

"Our Young Marines and recruits did an exceptional job with this activity, and we are proud to honor so many veterans this Memorial Day weekend," shared Unit Adjutant Grace Linhard. "Funds raised from our Field of Flags will support our encampments and other Young Marine activities, including our upcoming graduation ceremony in June."
