• Delaware plans Salem/Hope Creek siren test, KI tablet distribution (coasttv.com) — Residents in and around Delaware City should expect a full test of the Salem/Hope Creek nuclear siren system on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 10:45 a.m., covering the area north from town to Middletown and Woodland Beach. Then on Thursday, Oct. 15, potassium iodide tablets will be distributed at the Delaware City Fire Hall for people who live or work within the 10-mile Emergency Planning Zone.
