• 28 Delaware Organizations Receive Grants to Improve Food Access (delaware.gov) — Edgemoor is specifically included in Senator Darius Brown’s district, which helped turn the Delaware Grocery Initiative into law, and that program is now sending over $700,000 to 28 food-access projects statewide. From corner markets to farms and food pantries, these grants aim to cut food deserts and improve access to fresh, affordable groceries in communities much like Edgemoor by the end of 2026.
