• North East duo charged in Delaware shoplifting spree (somdnews.com) — A series of shoplifting incidents at Newark-area stores, including Home Depot, ShopRite, Lowe’s, and Cabela’s at Christiana Mall, has led to charges against two Cecil County residents. Delaware State Police say the month-long spree ended after a Brookside ShopRite employee recognized a suspect and was pepper-sprayed while trying to intervene.
   

• Felony Charges Follow Suspected Drug Seizure in Townsend (mychesco.com) — A Newark man has been charged with multiple felony drug offenses after state police say they seized suspected cocaine, heroin, and cash from his vehicle in Townsend following a months-long investigation. Detectives allege he was dealing narcotics from a Honda Accord, and he is now being held on significant cash bail while presumed innocent in court.
