• Hammer Attack at Newark Storage Facility Leads to Felony Charges (mychesco.com) — A woman from Townsend is facing multiple felony charges after Delaware State Police say she assaulted an employee with a hammer at Storage Rentals of America on Stafford Way in Newark. Two people were injured during the confrontation, which allegedly escalated from a business dispute, and the suspect was arrested after briefly resisting troopers. She is being held on cash bond while the case proceeds. 
• UD and State Agencies Team Up for AI Hackathon - Department of Technology & Information (DTI) (delaware.gov) — Students and state employees just wrapped up a three-day AI hackathon at UD’s STAR Campus in Newark, tackling real problems from Delaware agencies like transportation, education, and child support services.
