2024 School Board Candidate Forums
Local organizations will host a School Board Candidate Forum featuring candidates running for the Christina School Board in District D
A School Board Candidate Forum has been scheduled by the Delaware PTA, First State Educate, and partner organizations to introduce candidates running for the seat up for election on the Christina Board of Education. The open seat is in District "D," but ALL residents may vote in the election for the open seat. The School Board Candidate Forum will be held on the following date:
- Monday, April 22, 6:00-7:00 PM - Hosted by the Delaware PTA and partner organizations
- Registration required. Click here to register
- The forum will be live-streamed on First State Educate’s Facebook page.
The candidates running for the open seat are:
- Nominating District "D" – Term expires June 30, 2028
- Amy Trauth (02-21-2024)
- Matt Clifford (03-01-2024)
Election Date and Poll Place Hours:
School Board Elections will be held on May 14, 2024. Polls are open from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
