One- and two-bedroom units have inched down or held steady, leaving local rents slightly below statewide and national medians but still relatively high for smaller apartments compared with the rest of Delaware.

• Mysterious Stranger Drops Cash From Sky on Unwitting Americans (internewscast.com) — An anonymous Wilmington IT worker is using a drone to drop surprise cash, usually $20, on random people around Wilmington and northern Delaware, including visitors at the Wilmington Riverfront. He's now funding the "302 Cashcopter" project partly through public donations, has already given away hundreds of dollars, and hopes his airborne gifts inspire more everyday kindness across the community.

• Men challenged to live like saints at inaugural Catholic Men of Delmarva conference in Diocese of Wilmington (thedialog.org) — Men from across the Diocese of Wilmington gathered at Saint Mark's High School for the first Catholic Men of Delmarva conference, focused on practical ways to deepen their faith. Speaker Matthew Leonard urged attendees to reject aggressive "manosphere" messages, lean on the sacraments, and build a daily habit of prayer and quiet reflection to live more like saints.

- Today I had the pleasure of walking Welches, a popular resident at Humane Animal Partners in Stanton!
She was a good walker and loved a good session of scritches. She is 8 years old but has plenty of energy and spunk. Takes treats very nicely. (Nextdoor Springer Woods) - Clocks go back on November 1, 2026.
