2. Remains identified nearly 25 years after being removed from Wilmington mausoleum (6abc.com) — New Castle County police have finally identified human remains found in Wilmington as those of Hannah Graham Kleitz, whose bones were illegally removed from a local mausoleum nearly 25 years ago. Using updated DNA techniques, forensic art, and investigative genealogy, detectives matched the remains and returned her to Riverview Cemetery, while urging Wilmington-area residents to help with other cold cases.
3. In clash of Top 20 teams, young quarterback takes another step in right direction (nj.com subscription) — High school football fans saw top-ranked St. Augustine defeat Atlantic City 30–20 at Salesianum School in Wilmington, giving local spectators a strong Mid-Atlantic Pigskin Classic matchup. Sophomore quarterback Dylan Dellanoce threw three touchdown passes as St. Augustine rallied from an early deficit, while Hermits coach Bill Belton, coaching through an Achilles injury, praised his young signal caller's growing confidence and leadership.
4. Mushrooms Are a Hot Ingredient on Delaware Menus (delawaretoday.com) — Mushroom-focused dishes are popping up across Delaware menus, with several standout options in Wilmington, from roasted mushroom sides at Piccolina Toscana to hearty toppings at Harry's Savoy Grill and creative plates at Moro Bistro and El Camino.
