Delaware Technical Community College Honors Veterans

On November 11, 2021, Delaware Tech honored veterans in a collegewide ceremony at the Stanton campus with the theme of "celebrating all who have served and honoring post 9/11 veterans."

The ceremony was presided over by Master of Ceremonies Jesse Johnson, a United States Air Force veteran and department chair for social sciences at the College. The Dover Air Force Base Honor Guard provided the Posting of Colors.

Major General (Retired) Francis D. Vavala moderated a panel discussion with Captain Jennifer Mutter, United States Air Force veteran, Sergeant Major Jason McDowell, United States Army veteran, and Sergeant Major Mark DelVecchio, United States Army veteran.

Senator Tom Carper also provide remarks recognizing veterans across the country.
