Christina School District is beyond excited and thankful to have partnered with Giant Food for the 2022 Nourishing Our Youth Round Up Program. Your generosity will assist in the fight against hunger within Christina School District. Today, Giant Food presented Christina School District with a check for $26,413.00.

This year every school was enrolled in a federal program, Community Eligibility Provision, that allows the District to offer free meals to all students. In order to do so, a financial impact on the District will occur for students in specific schools who otherwise would not qualify through a direct certification process for free meals. The District and Child Nutrition will use these donated funds towards those costs that will impact more than 3,000 students in 9 schools.
