Camp in Frawley Stadium to raise funds for winter coats (scsuntimes.com) — Wilmington families can camp overnight at Frawley Stadium on Nov. 14 to help buy new winter coats for local students in Wilmington, Newport, and Stanton. The Camping for Coats fundraiser, run by Sam's KIDS with Operation Warm, aims to provide 2,000 coats, and residents can donate, sponsor, volunteer, camp at the stadium, or host their own satellite campout.
   

2. The Pogues' Songs Return To Wilmington With Rum & Red Roses – Town Square Delaware LIVE (townsquaredelaware.com) — A Pogues tribute band, Rum & Red Roses, is playing Saturday night at The Crown at The Queen on North Market Street in Wilmington, with doors at 7 p.m. and music at 8. Led by Irish-born musician John Byrne, the show promises high-energy Irish folk-punk classics and quieter ballads, giving longtime fans and newcomers a lively way to experience The Pogues' music downtown.
   

3. Wilmington Man Charged with Fentanyl Trafficking and Firearm Offenses (justice.gov) — Federal prosecutors say a 23‑year‑old Wilmington man has been charged with fentanyl trafficking and illegal firearm possession after city police allegedly found drugs, cash, and a gun in his home. The case, investigated by Wilmington Police and federal partners under Project Safe Neighborhoods, carries potential prison time if he's convicted, though he remains presumed innocent while the case proceeds.
   

4. Wilmington Shooting Suspect Arrested After Foot Chase, Police Say (mychesco.com) — Wilmington police have arrested a 24-year-old man after a foot chase, charging him in a Sept. 1 shooting on West Seventh Street that left a 39-year-old victim critically wounded. Officers say the suspect, who also had an outstanding Pennsylvania warrant, is now being held on significant cash-only bail while the investigation continues.
   

5. The Silver Rose, honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe, returns to Diocese of Wilmington beginning Oct. 11 (thedialog.org) — Wilmington parishioners will have several chances in mid-October to join the Knights of Columbus' Silver Rose pilgrimage, with stops at St. Elizabeth, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Holy Child, and St. Patrick. The traveling devotion, honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe, invites local Catholics to gather for rosary-centered prayer focused on respect for life and spiritual renewal across Delaware.
