2 Suspects Wanted In Georgetown Armed Robbery

Police are searching for two suspects involved in the armed robbery of a business in the 3200 Block of M Street, NW.

GEORGETOWN, DC — Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are searching for two people involved in an armed robbery of a Georgetown store.

At approximately 9:11 p.m. Sunday, May 14, two suspects entered an establishment in the 3200 Block of M St. and pulled out handguns, police said. They demanded that the store employee take out money from the safe, but the employee was unable to open it, police said. The suspects then took the employee's personal belongings and fled.

Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by sending a text message to 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent offense, including an armed robbery, committed in the District of Columbia.
