Hi, I'm Shelby! I’m a local mediator who helps neighbors resolve family, relationship, and workplace conflicts in a calm, structured way. Through my small business, Rogers Resolution Services, I offer mediation and conflict-resolution support tailored to your unique needs and help guide people through difficult conversations. I work primarily with co-parents, partners, relatives, roommates, and teams who need help talking through decisions, routines, boundaries, or recurring disagreements. I also support workplaces and community groups facing communication challenges or breakdowns. My role is neutral. I don’t give legal advice or take sides. I facilitate conversations, de-escalate tense situations, and help people reach practical and maintainable agreements they can feel comfortable with. Clarendon shoppers get an early look at fall this month. Current Boutique is hosting a free Sip &amp; Shop on Friday, Aug. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at its Wilson Boulevard location — an evening of complimentary refreshments, personal styling, and a curated fall preview rack available for one night only.
The event is part of Current Boutique's complimentary Styling Series, a rotating program of after-hours styling events held across the boutique's four DC-area locations. Guests can browse summer arrivals at consignment prices, work one-on-one with the store's styling team, and get first pick from a specially assembled selection of fall pieces before they reach the sales floor.
Current Boutique has served the Washington region for nearly 20 years as a luxury consignment retailer, with boutiques in Clarendon, Old Town Alexandria, Georgetown and 14th Street NW. The shop specializes in designer and contemporary brands at a fraction of retail, and promotes sustainable fashion by keeping quality pieces in circulation.
The event is free and open to the public. Friends and groups are welcome. He may look and sound gruff but he is a big bear of a sweetheart. You’ll love his take on his own sorted history and observations in general. He also has over 18 years in recovery and is in demand for 12 step conventions all over. Pete can also be seen as a contributor on local panel shows “Like It Or Not” and “The Final 5”, both on Fox 5 DC, offering up humorous takes on the days events.
